Trail: Nature-Mountain-Crane Dyke Loop  (I created this route, so there aren't any reviews of photos yet... we'll be the first!)

Description: This flat, scenic trail starts and ends at the Pitt Lake Parking Lot, which is at the north end of Rannie Road. It travels along various dykes through much of Pitt-Addington Marsh Wildlife Management Area. There are beautiful viewpoints and great opportunities for birdwatching. Please note that the washroom facilities at Pitt Lake are closed.
What to bring: Please dress in layers, for the weather, wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring a water bottle and a snack.  TIP: It can be quite a bit chillier in this area than it is in town due to the winds funnelling through the Pitt Lake valley.

Friendly dogs are welcome but they must be leashed for the duration of the walk.  If you choose to bring your furry friend please be mindful of the comfort level of those around you.

Please note that unless indicated, all MGW events are child-free.  The purpose of this is so that we can focus on being us, without the stress or distractions that come from little people. Thanks for your cooperation!
