We're super excited about this series of family-friendly events. Registration is free and I will be collecting cash donations to the Teen Gift Drive at the event. In exchange, you will receive lyric booklets for your family. The songs are all fun and easy to sing. No signing experience is required - this is about community and holiday spirit. Festive attire is highly encouraged!!
Please see the poster for dates and locations. Each session should take less than one hour. You will receive specific information about your event via email a day or two prior.
**PLEASE RESERVE A TICKET FOR EACH PERSON ATTENDING. (KIDS TOO!)**
All of the organizations that I've arranged for us to sing at are thrilled at the idea of a bunch of families spreading joy! That said, for the indoor locations (Senior's Facilities and Hospice) we are very limited in numbers due to space issues. Please don't be disappointed if you miss out on those. The outdoor events have a much larger capacity.
The December 1st (T's/ OnceUponATeaLeaf.com) event is on the same day as the Maple Ridge Christmas Parade, which will be super fun! We'll sing in front of T's from about 4pm to 4:45pm. The parade starts at 6pm so that would give families enough time to grab a quick bite to eat before it kicks off.
The WCE Station events are during the Santa Train, which is a fundraiser for the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Christmas Hamper Society. It's a really fun one! My family has volunteered at it for the past 3 years and my kids LOVE it. If you're inclined you could sing and also participate by taking the train down to Vancouver for the day. (Admission on the train is by toy / gift donation to the hamper).
I'll be posting the lyric booklet file in the MGW Facebook group so that you can see what you're in for and familiarize with the songs.
