Join Moms Gone Wild as we learn to arrange flowers with Maple Ridge Florist!  Once our creations are ready we'll be sharing them with deserving seniors within our community through Bouquets for Baba.

Bouquets for Baba was started during the pandemic as a way for members of our community to spread some cheer to the older generation in Maple Ridge during the difficult periods of lockdown.  The program has been deeply appreciated by the community in which it serves and thus, has been carried forward, thanks to the support of individual and business donors.

Our volunteer event is free of charge, and we encourage you to consider donating to the program if you feel inclined.  Donations can be accepted on-site at Maple Ridge Florist.

Wednesday, April 19th at 10:30am
Maple Ridge Florist - 22530 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge

We will meet at Maple Ridge Florist, where Shelli and her crew will teach us how to create flower masterpieces.  We'll each have the opportunity to create two arrangements.  Upon completion, we'll have the opportunity to deliver bouquets to seniors at a few locations within Maple Ridge.  I've heard that this experience is deeply rewarding and meaningful and I can't wait for us to be a part of it!

Delivery Logistics:
Please note that the only location which we will have the opportunity to hand deliver the bouquets to seniors is Bailie House.  At the other locations, we will be delivering to facility staff members who will distribute the bouquets.

Health Status Required:
In order to participate in delivery at Bailie House, you must be up to date on vaccinations and healthy.  This is a requirement to keep the seniors safe.  You may still participate in the bouquet arranging regardless of vaccination status.

Cancellations & Waitlist:
We only have space for 7 Wild Moms.  Once spaces have filled please email cheryl@momsgonewild.ca to be added to the waitlist.  If you reserve a spot and can no longer attend the event please let me know so I can offer your space to the next in line.
