Join us as we learn about the importance of trees and local wildlife that utilize them as habitat. Then, we will build our very own bird houses!
This event is hosted through Worms & Wee Ones, a free outdoor playgroup for families of preschoolers, and targets children aged 3 to 5. That said, everyone is welcome!
Your $10 ticket includes a short educational presentation, a bird house kit (pre-cut wood, nails, and use of necessary tools), and a guided workshop for building the bird house. For more information about the workshop please see this short video. 100% of ticket sales goes directly back to Alouette River Management Society, a local non-profit organization that strives to protect the Alouette Watershed and surrounding ecosystem.
Each $10 ticket includes one bird house. If you'd like one bird house per child please purchase the appropriate number of tickets.
