These days, most humans are stressed out, overwhelmed, and undernourished. Adding the role of mother into the mix heightens these sensations.

In this five-week series, you will leave each class feeling awake with the ability to unwind (A paradox? We promise - it's not). 

Our instructor, Sky, will teach yoga based movements, breath work, mindfulness, meditation and nourishment strategies to allow us to align ourselves with our best lives. What's her secret? JUST BREATHE.

This series is open to most levels, meaning no yoga experience needed to join, this will be foundational and gentle to allow for a solid practice to be developed or continue developing your existing practice.

All you need is your yoga mat and/or blanket, a water bottle, and yourself to leave feeling connected as spring towards the longer days!

Please Note: YogaGen has all the props you would need to feel comfortable during this series. Additionally, if you are a pregnant person, you are also welcome, please let Sky know so she can add in the necessary modifications!

About Our Facilitator:
Who am I you ask? I am Sky. Having changed directions so many times I now understand the need for road signs. My personal yellow brick road didn’t lead to Oz but rather it took me through some interesting twists and turns. Through my journey, I’ve held hands with the scarecrow and have tasted her fear. I’ve worked alongside the dead, and the dying. I’ve seen the mind in all its glory fight courageous battles and tell its own horror tales. I’ve seen it destroy itself and conquer all else. I’ve learned there is no magical recipe for life, but rather a series of tools, implemented if you will, that can help you navigate the street signs thrown in your path, empowering you to live your best life. 

My experiences and certifications include: A B.S. in Anthropology and B.A. in Psychology from Southern Methodist University. I am a Holistic Nutritionist (CNP) and a 500-hour certified Tantric Hatha Yoga and Meditation with a specialty in post natal yoga/yoga with baby. These holistic ingredients combined with motherhood have given me a unique lens which has led to the creation of Sky Yoga & Wellness.
