You'll get to try various circus stations, including flying trapeze, aerial silks, hoop, partner acrobatics and juggling!
At the flying trapeze station, we will learn and try the "knee hang," which is the first trick taught to everyone -- no experience necessary! Seriously, the trapeze is not as difficult as it looks. Yes, it is high, but the harness and momentum carry quite a bit of your body weight! If you have tried flying trapeze before, you can try a more advanced trick with the assistance of the coaches, or work on perfecting your knee hang skills.
In the aerial station, you will get to try basic aerial silks skills. There are about 3-5 basic skills taught. Start with the simplest pose - once you master that move on to the next challenge! Or, just stay in the "hammock pose", like I opted for last round!
At the last station you'll learn a skill that all moms know well - juggling! ;)
Tickets are only $50 for this two hour workshop! Everyone will have time to try all of the stations and depending on the size of the group we will be able to try the trapeze out a couple of times each.
West Coast Flying Trapeze is going above and beyond for us. They do not offer public workshops which include all of the stations. (The flying trapeze workshop alone is usually $69!) Don't miss this awesome opportunity!
There are a limited number of spaces available. Channel your inner circus performer and reserve as soon as possible. I anticipate another sell-out!
Reminder: Moms Gone Wild has a no refund policy. You are, however, always welcome to transfer your ticket to another Wild Mom. Please let me know via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you do transfer a ticket. Thanks for your cooperation.
